Saw an Ood in the way home…

Der Garten ist uns über den Kopf gewachsen!

Ups Kamera wohl falsch umgestellt… das ist natürlich 14 Uhr… (oder so, weiss ich nicht mehr genau)

2:30 (PDT) Wake up call. Obviously the receptionist didn’t understand us, because we said “quarter past three”. So back to bed, sort of…
3:15 Alarm clock rang, this time we really had to get up
3:20 Shower, packing up, leaving
3:45 Check out, cab to the airport
4:00 Arriving at airport, only to find that all counters at Continental were still closed
around 4:30 Continental employees awake too, checking bags in etc
around 5:30 Arrived at the Gate, hung out bored
6:10 boarding the plane
6:45 Take off to Newark

5 hours later…

around 11:45 (PDT) / 14:45 (EDT) Landed in Newark
12:00 / 15:00 Trying to figure out which Terminal and Gate to go to. No information on the information screens.
12:15 / 15:15 Pizza
12:30 / 15:30 Asked at the Lufthansa Counter where to go. B62, so we had to go from Terminal C to B via AirTrain and then through another security check.
12:45 / 15:45 Getting really nervous because of the incredibly long lines in front of the security check.
13:10 / 16:10 Arrived at the Gate, right on time for boarding
14:00 / 17:00 Take off to Düsseldorf

7 hours later…

21:00 (PDT) / 00:00 (EDT) / 6:00 (CEST) Landed in Düsseldorf.

Not really the best of days. It’s really odd when a day has only about 14 hours…
